45 Degree Movement
The Chain Reactor is a true chain tensioner with 45 degrees of cantilever
spring movement. This allows for the Reactor to compensate for gear changes and extreme
conditions that would require the tensioner to be in different positions.
Neoprene Wheel
Unlike other tensioners, the Chain Reactor uses a neoprene (rubber) wheel.
This makes for quiet, smooth and durable operation. Most other chain tensioners use a hard
plastic wheel that is annoyingly noisy. With the KORE Chain Reactor, it's so quiet you
won't even know you have it on your bike.
Cantilever Spring
The Chain Reactor uses a cantilever spring that allows a full 45 degree
movement. There are three placement holes to adjust tension on the spring, so you can dial
in the Chain Reactor to fit your bike and riding style perfectly. The Chain Reactor spring
is also easily replaceable.
Universal Clamp
The Chain Reactor has a special clamp design that allows the Chain Reactor
to fit all round, square, and oval chain stays. The clamp also features a slot cut on the
inside to allow your rear derailleur inner cable to pass through. The clamp has two double
bolts angled outward for easy installation and adjustment.
